So our next event is coming up in a couple of weeks time. There is information at the bottom of this post. I will be organising a van so you need to get in touch with me if you would like to get a ride out. We will be meeting at girls high school at 8.30am.
You will need to bring $3 towards the map, and if you need to get a ride in the van then you will need to bring a extra $5.
EVENT- SUNDAY 21st AUGUST- TANGITERORIA FOREST
Come and enjoy another forest event. Definitely a good morning out to experience a scamper or meander through the lush fern and punga groves !. There will be courses for everyone.Where- Tangiteroria forest- approx 28km from Whangarei
How to get there- take SH14 to Dargavillle, travel through Maungatapere, turn Right into Whatitiri rd after about 6km,travel another 5km then turn Left into Carruth rd. Go to the end to turn around and parking will be along roadside. Look out for the orange trailer.
Time- start times from 10- 10:45 am. Course closure at 1pm.
Bring- comfortable clothing and shoes.Whistle, compass and drink.
Cost $7 students, $10 adults.
There will be a white/yellow , orange and red course
