Junior Adventure Racing- Gear List for Get2Go Regionals

Here is a list of all the gear you will need for the Get2Go regionals on Tuesday the 9th of August, start to get organised, and let me know if you are having trouble sorcing some items. I will give you a paper copy at Thursday Training.
Individual Gear List
·         Solid Running Shoes
·         Warm Layers of Clothes
·         Warm Hat and Gloves
·         Sunhat and Sunscreen
·         Spare Socks
·         Shorts and T-shirt
·         Raincoat
·         A spare set of clothes and a towel for after the water activity
·         A wetsuit (this is optional but highly recommended)
·         A whistle
·         A bike helmet
·         A mountain bike (we will sort out who will bring their bikes at training)
·         A compass
·         A watch
·         Pens/pencils and paper

Friday 22nd July Training

Training tomorrow is all go!!!!! Rain or shine it will be on. Please bring your mt bike, pump, and tire changing gear. Plus thermals, towel and rain coat. It will definitely be a wet one. If you don't have a bike don't worry about it. See you there

Holiday Training

Hi all,
I hope that you are having a great first week of holidays and that you have had some rest.
Training wise:

Friday 22nd of July- Meet at the Whangarei Rowing Club @ 9.30am-12.30.
You will need to bring; a Mt bike, towel, change of clothes, thermal top and bottom, bike pump and spare tyre, running shoes and wter/food. If you don't have a Mt bike dont stress.

Friday 29th of July- Meet at Barge Park @ 9.30am-1pm.
You will need to bring a compass, running shoes, thermal, raincoat, water/food.

Saturday 30th of July- Meet at WGHS gym @ 9am-12.30.
You will need to bring running shoes, compass, water/food, thermal and raincoat.

I understand that some of you will not be able to make all of these trainings however please do contact me asap as to which trainings that you can make so that I can plan for how much gear I will need.
Please make sure that you are getting out and going for 5-7km runs if you can't make the trainings.

Totara Park Navquest

Welldone to all the participants in the Navquest Challenge at Totara Park. A very muddy and exhausting day, however some very good results and more importantly alot of fun!!!!

Mair Park 1 hour Rogaine

Hi all,
This Sunday on the 10th of July is a 1 hour Rogaine. 9.30 is registration and start time is 10.15. $7 dollars a map, bring your compass, water and a raincoat.
