Who is keen to go to this?
Hi Folks
Entries are now open for our new Adventure Race, a 12 hour and 6 hour Adventure
Race.
The event will take place on Saturday 13th September 2014 and will incorporate
the North Island Secondary School Championships.
The event will be based from Tucks Bay, near Coromandel Township and with the
exception of the Schools Championships, teams will not require a support crew.
The events include mountain biking, trekking, rifle shooting, mine exploration
and navigation and all team members will require a wet suit.
The 12 hour event will have kayaking and non-kayaking options and is open
to teams of 4 or 2 (any mix).
The 6 hour event is non- kayaking and will be open to teams of 2, 3 or 4.
The School Championships is open to teams of 4 (any mix) and will include
kayaking.
The theme for the event can be found on the website and it is hoped that
it will raise awareness to the plight of Coromandels Archey's Frog.
As usual we have an early bird option for teams and more information and online
