Get2Go Final
Happy New Year to you all. Sorry it has taken so long to get this together.
Cant believe it has almost been a month since we were on the Barrier. It was a windy week away but what a blast we had. All the training we put in was evident in our reslience and ability to keep coming back when times were tough. I am so proud of the work you put in and the 2nd place result that we got. The top 6 teams were of a really high standard and I think we should be really proud of what we achieved in that week.
The Hillary Outdoors team put on a fabulous event and I would like to thank them for once again putting together a competition that caters to all levels and really stretches each team.
Enjoy the photos and all the memories you have from the week. See you in a couple of weeks for trainings!!! Hehe

Training
hey warts
So every week I will update the blog for weekend training otherwise it's the same every week. Well done to George court Renee nicole mika and Heath for making the get2go squad. Still finishing trials for the boys over the next week or so.
Monday 3.30-4.30 skills training (anyone can come along)
Tuesday 5-8 rockwall (optional)
Wednesday 6.30-8 fitness. 3.30-5.30 problem solving (just the get2go squad in the morning and then just the right for the afternoon. Seniors will be asked to come along to the last couple)
Saturday and Sunday updated each week
There are still two events happening in November p6 and the Moa hunt. I will send all juniors a notice for those events. Anyone can come to those.
Saturday 17th meet at 8am at glenbervie forest at the adventure forest car park. Bring packs with the usual gear inside (rain coat, thermal, water, food, and a 4kg weight). Seniors are welcome.
Tuesday 20th I would like get2go squad to have a rock wall training. 5-6.30. I think it's $7.
Thursday 22nd is the sports awards. Please make sure the get2go regional team is there as its a good night for prizes. It would be great to see you all there to support each other.

National Rogaine Photos
Hey WARTS
What a fantastic trip away. Classic Adventure racing trip in that the journey to the event was crazier that the actual event. With snow, hail, sun, rain, and wind we had all. But once we got there WARTS were focused on the task and very professional in the way they conducted themselves. I could not be happier with all the results, espically in the build up to other events. More focus on Navigation training will put us in a good place for the Auckland secondary school race next month.
Can I also say a huge thank you to Regent New World who sponsored us for this event, all the food was greatlt appreciated.
Welldone to Macey, Geneva, Court, Grace, Mika, Flynn, Matt and Connor. A huge congratulations to William and Callum who continue to set a very high bar for us all to aspire towards. Enjoy the photos.

Hillary Challange
Hi WARTS
Well what a week and what a result. We had a really interesting start to the week, with new challenges on the first two days, which seemed to throw both teams. We then set off on expidition with a hiss and a roar, and did really well. Although there was fantastic skill shown by Callum, the team had to be able to support his course, and they did. We have continued to show a high level at the Hillary Challenge, and I can't wait to see what we can do next year. Thanks to Sam for coming along for the ride, we could not have done it without you. I would also like to thank all the parents and Tom and Matt for all the help with preparing the team.
Enjoy the photos and stories that will follow.
Welldone Team, you achieved your goal for the week and should be really proud of all the effort you put in to the lead up to this event. Two weeks rest and then we are back into it!!!!
